Seeking Advice About Which Job To Take

I am a senior in college and recently accepted a job in Cali with a bank that has given me the option to go into S&T or iBanking. I worked last summer in ECM and DCM and absolutely hated it, I was basically glorified marketing. I have always wanted to go into S&T but now that I have the option I am hesitant due to exit opportunities and the future of that position itself. Can anyone give me some advice? Are there good opportunities after the 2 year analyst program for somebody that has worked in S&T? or should I just forget about what I wanted and just become an iBanker?

Would you be placed in a sales role or trading if you picked S&T? They'd be different...

Pretty cool that you have both options actually. The choice would largely depend on what you actually want to do after, and what you enjoy. Do you love the markets, following stocks/bonds/derivatives, and a generally fast-pace work style? Then do S&T. Are you interested in learning how companies work, analyzing financial statements, and executing deals (IPOs, bond issuances, M&A)? Then do IBD. IBD is also obviously the ideal jumping off point for PE and places into many HFs too.
