Tomorrow morning I am taking the continuing education exam for the Series 7 & 63.

If anyone has gone through the process, would please let me know what it is?

Thanks guys.

Since none of you fuckers actually responded, I'll do a good thing for the community and tell y'all how it went.

  • Don't worry about the exam. It's easy.
  • There are 7 to or 8 sections ranging from ethics (the longest section and the easiest) to registration requirements (the hardest for me).
  • Each section starts with a situation and then you answer a few questions. The program tells you real-time if you answered correctly or not. Then it spits out another situation and asks you another set. If you don't score (~60%-70%) or higher you have to go through another situation until you score high enough.
  • I had difficulty on the registration requirements part since I'm not a broker. Don't worry, even if you miss all of the questions, the program will recycle to the start of the questions and you can eventually identify which are correct.

Duration - I was there for 1.75 hours. You're allotted 3.5.

Hope this helps any future candidates or those who need to do the cont. ED.
