Series 79 Knopman Study Advice
Taking the Series 79, and I have the knopman study material. I just want to hear everyone's study plan. Should you read the whole book and then do practice problems of all material? Should I do practice problems after I am finished reading each section. Want to hear how everyone studied and prepared for the exam. I have the online lectures too. thank you all. Would love hear how you did it.
I think I scored 85% or so. I just read the summary pages on the back of the Knopman guides and took the practice exams that Knopman gives you. We had a 1-2 week in-person session with a Knopman Marks instructor which really helped. I think most people at my firm overstudied but most did not read the books in full (waste of time honestly).
After reading the first few chapters, there is just so much material that you can take notes on. You need to know the highly tested information. Having a personal instructor would help LOL.

I've always been curious (not a knock on you), but what firms make you take the 79 but don't provide you study materials? I've always been curious about these threads since I always assumed other shops provided materials as well.

I recently passed the Series 79 by using Knopman's Financial Training KIT. This is the best study guide to use to pass the 79! I highly recommend it to use as a study guide on its own or as a supplement to another guide. It is barely used and I am selling it for half price, all materials included from the original package.
