SFU Beedie School of Business

I basically have to choose between UBC econ, Queens econ and Western Econ, but I've also gotten accepted to the Beedie School of Business. I hope to one day work as an investment banker or another position in finance, but I'm not sure which school would suit me the most. Transferring to business from arts would be tough. What would you do if you were in my position?

Western/Queens would be best choice coming from a UBC Commerce student. Even better if you have a good GPA in university then get into ivey hba program which places even better in banking.

UBC Commerce got all the big 5 banking positions in Vancouver but doesn't place very well outside of west coast with some exceptions like PMF or some laterals to Toronto. Beedie only got National Bank this year in Vancouver for banking and unaware of any other placements in banking.

Overall, brand name of Queens/Ivey will make networking easier and through effort on your part of prepping you should be able to get better placements.

Feel free to PM for more info.
