Should I go or not
I'll be interning at a BB in Hong Kong this summer. Next week my firm is having a info session for rising seniors at my school and I think this is mainly for the NYC office. I want to go to this event to network but I am afraid that they might see me having the incentive to leverage my HK experience for NY FT recruiting in the fall. After all, I was hired to HK because I showed my strong interest in working in Asia (which is true). I really don't want to give them the wrong idea, but I still want to go to network and explore other opportunities.
What do you all think I should do?
"I think this is mainly for the NYC office."
If it is only MAINLY for the office, then you can still go. Tell them that you are there just to get more information about the firm in general.
