Should I hide or highlight a reorientation ?
Hi guys,
Few days ago I decided to make a point on my career and to review my CV accordingly. The question which bother me the most is should I hide or not my first post-graduate year : I did a first year in IT that I passed, then I moved into a bachelor of finance before entering the business school this year.
On the first hand, I already know how I can defend it in interview, saying for example that I realized that what interested me the most was what IT allows in the finance field rather than IT itself, but in another hand I know how M&A is an elitist area and that it could be seen in a bad way for recruiters.
What do you advise me ?
PS : When did you get ride of your summer jobs ? Is 2 internships enough on a resume ?
Thanks !
And before you ask, I'm currently studying in France so that's a current practice : Nobody is asking for transcripts or grades. I really feel like it could add value to my resume, but I'm a bit lost having a lot of differents view on it.
