Should I move to Hawaii for WFH?

I work on the west coast and am living with parents not paying any rent. I don’t see a great reason not to live somewhere cool during WFH. Pros vs. cons of renting an Air BnB with a friend, maybe splitting a rental car, in Hawaii? I’m only going to count on having Saturdays free to spend exploring. Would it be worth it and where should I go in the islands?

I did something similar with two coworkers in October; we work on the East Coast and went down to South Florida for a month. Despite still working 70+ hours a week, it was so nice being able to just step outside for 10 minutes and go on a quick jog, or a quick swim in the morning. And then the weekends were awesome and was what we looked forward to each week.

If you do it, I'd highly encourage going with a friend as you'll feel more social and it'll be easier to split costs on things.
