Smoking Weed on Wall Street

I was wondering, of all of you wall street analysts, associates, etc, who still smokes the ganja? How rare is the functional smoker in the big leagues?

Please dont get all opinionated on here, because weed shouldnt even be illegal

This topic is just to get a conversation going about working in IB and still smoking the chronic.

I think weed is the best for bankers. I mean, let's say you come home really late. You can blaze up, get totally toasted and then have a great sleep and wake up fresh and not hung over, ready for another long, hard day.

I think it's obvious that weed AT work is a total non starter. I seriously hope that people are not smoking weed at work.

But anyway I agree with Tabula. You won't hear anybody talking about it.

Why should weed not be illegal?

jc100021^^^because people should have the right to choose what they want to put in their body.

why should one have the right to put what ever they want in their body ?

I am not in banking but where I work (at a hedge fund) weed is fair game to discuss...nobody would talk about going home and getting high every night after work but if somebody mentioned smoking a joint at a concert or something nobody would care. I have also smoked weed both with colleagues of mine and with salespeople I have gone out with. But where I work there are also no drug tests.

ironic that an ad for "drugfreeworld.org" came up on this thread
