Sophomore looking to get into LATAM

Hey I’m just looking for a little bit of advice. I’m a sophomore at a state college majoring in finance, looking to eventually get into LATAM Coverage in NYC. I did an internship for a venture capital firm this last summer but apart from that I don’t have much experience. I do speak Spanish and Portuguese fluently as well. I have kept my GPA high so I’m not really worried about that either. Just wondering what are the steps that I should be taking right now to be able to break into that sector? Anything helps. Thanks!
