Sterling Talent Solutions international background check

Hi guys, recently accepted an offer and they told me Sterling Talent Solutions will reach out for a background check verification. I was wondering if anyone has gone through their process and know how thorough it is and what the background check entails? This is because I have two experiences listed with companies based in another country that is high in censorship and hence I don't know if sterling would be able to connect with them and due to language barrier, how clear the communication would be between the two firms and sterling.
