Just received an update email. Incoming class start date was originally August 3, will now most likely be pushed back to a date TBD. Some, if not all, training will be virtual. Satellite offices will not send new analysts to NYC for training. They are also expecting to have a deferral program, where some of the analysts start dates will be moved to 2021. No word on who or how many people will be deferred.

Interesting how the said the same thing for 2020 SA- that they will either be starting in 2021 or deferred to 2022. Wonder how that will be decided.
I would imagine those will go hand in hand. Around the same number will probably be deferred in each class.
You think likelihood of deferrals more likely in NY office due to higher #'s or would a satellite defer all or half an analyst class of 2 incoming kids?
