Received an offer from Stout's IB division and am wondering if anybody has insight into this group (deal flow, deal size, exit opps). Seems like they're spread across three major offices in NY, SF, Chi (HQ).
Couldn't find any productive conversations on WSO regarding Stout so would love to learn more from credible sources. Thanks

It definitely would not show up on any league table. Mergermarket says they have 9 deals this year, all undisclosed except for one $32M deal. Doesn't seem like an attractive firm to work for, but I do not have any first hand knowledge or know of anyone who works there.
Fairly well known in Chicago due to HQ being there. A friend of mine interned there a while back and had good things to say about the people as well. Heard in the past that their all-in analyst pay is notably below street, but that may be outdated info. Assuming exits would be LMM PE or a lateral to another better-known bank.
