Suit or casual for networking lunch?
I got on really well with an banker from a BB at a networking event and we're meeting for lunch tomorrow, I'm really nervous about the formalities of the meeting as opposed to being nervous about what to talk about
He'll obviously be in a suit, probably without a tie and looking quite tired...
What do I wear?! A suit with no tie? Full on suit? Three quarter lengths, my red and black high tops with my 50 cent chain?
business casual
blue adidas sweatsuit
Red adidas sweatsuit = power suit
business casual should be fine, though.
It depends on where the lunch is. Can't go wrong with jacket and tie, but not necessarily full-on suit. Plus, if you see him from far away, you can quickly un-tie if he isn't dressed that way.
think about it you'll be talking to a banker
when in rome, brother:
morning coat with topper
don't forget the monocle and the sack with the $ sign on it
where a proper suit with a tie. make a good impression
casual will always work if you wanna wear a suit, it depends on where you are having lunch

I've been networking and was invited to lunch with a hedge fund exec. He also mentioned showing me around his shop. This is my first networking lunch and am unsure how to approach my wardrobe. Any ideas on proper attire? Suit? With/without tie? Maybe suit pants with a sweater? Any help would be appreciated.
