Summer 2027 IB Internship
I am a rising junior at a semi-target, and I was not able to land an investment banking internship for Summer 2026. I also have not secured anything for Summer 2027 and am still actively looking.
At this point, how realistic is it for me to land a Summer 2027 internship at a middle-market or lower-middle-market investment bank? I understand that I am behind in the recruiting process, but I want to know whether there are still legitimate opportunities available and what I should prioritize from here.
It’s possible. Would suggest you making a list of all LMM boutiques (10-50 employees) across US and hit them up
At least in Houston I know banks like Pickering Energy Partners and Opportune would recruit people 3 months before summer internship
