How the hell is a company issued laptop a 'perk'? Lot of you are acting as if it's something nice they're doing for us, you're literally going to just be working on it before you return it. People out of their minds thinking they get to keep the laptops.
Considering most firms aren't giving laptops, I'm pretty grateful mine gave me a full setup (laptop + dock + monitor) even if it's only for the summer. Lots of people have shitty laptops that won't be able to run a heavy Excel spreadsheet and other programs at the same time.
You won't be doing any work locally on your personal computer. The InfoSec and compliance teams would never allow that. Your personal computer only needs to be able to run a lightweight remote desktop program so you can do the work on firm systems (where the heavy lifting will actually be done.)
My bank gave the interns bank-branded underwear, shirts, socks, phone chargers, bar soaps, vests, and mugs.
I wear the underwear every day to sleep.

Seems to me that BofA is the only BB not sending out anything. HR also has been unresponsive/intransparent about the evaluation process/program length remained undecided. Still a great bank, but would probably pick another EB if I were to choose again.

I heard from my summer manager that swag is incoming at some point here, but I didn't get / ask for any further details on it.

Probably yes but unofficially no. They aren't letting employees expense dinners at most places. I feel like if you have a reason like no kitchen or something if you're in a dorm or whatever they might but their reasoning is that you're not really paying for rent and other expenses so why expense meals

Ironically, I got more stuff while recruiting in college than from my last place... they were very stingy. I still have my oversized GS t-shirt, a Citi Tide pen (very useful for dates when I get sloppy after a few cocktails), UBS golf balls, and Gugg notepads. I also never bought pens ever again during college recruiting season lol
