Targeting Internship Search
Currently a Sophomore at the University of Maryland, Finance major.
Searching for an IB internship for the summer (or perhaps even spring....some have been made available).
My question is how my search should be stratified. There are thousands of IB firms, 99% of which I will not have time to thoroughly research, network with, and apply to....so....which ones should be made top priority?
The Bulge Brackets are currently out of reach as I have no prior experience.
Middle Markets and Boutiques seem to be the most practical targets.
Should I choose them on the basis of...Geography, presence of Alumni, how long the firm has been in business, size of the firm?

For 2015? It might be a bit late since most BB and elite boutique have closed applications.. If your school is target for some IBs, look out for them when they are on campus.
