Team does all comments live over zoom?
First year on the job for a couple months and wondering if this is normal. My team does their comments almost entirely over zoom. As in, we screen share and the VP or director or whoever will give us comments as we page through.
Sometimes it’s painfully obvious that they haven’t looked at the deck at all before despite being sent it and then these calls will take an hour+ as they fumble through thinking out the changes live.
Is this normal? Isn’t this crazy inefficient? Often the whole junior team is on the zoom while this is going on. Wouldn’t it be wildly easier for all involved if they just reviewed it whenever and sent comments?
Shouldn’t do all but assuming you’re a first year that’s not a bad way to train the team as you will learn second nature what they want later when they aren’t watching
