I was wondering what exactly Technology Analysts in IBD do per say. Also, what can one expect from an interview?
Is coding required, or just a plus? Or is just knowing about tech more important?

if you are in tech coverage (which is IBD) you are doing regular banking stuff. If you are a technology analyst (BO/MO), it is not in IBD and not sure what they do.
Thank you! From my understanding technology analysts deal with accounting, creating pricing models for derivatives or structured products, etc. (maybe also improve database through code.)
