??The Power of HR??
I'm going to be starting as a summer intern with a BB firm in IBD, but I've been slow in getting my papers back to HR for the background check because of finals, etc.
Should I worry about irking HR or this having a terribly negative impact on receiving an offer at the end of the summer? If so, how could I mitigate the situation? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
As long as you have nothing to hide and you are actually planning on getting the stuff in with enough time before you start then no you need not worry. Remember HR facilitate the operation of companies, they don't run them despite what some of them might like to think. If your team likes you then you will get an offer. Don't listen to anybody who says otherwise.
They say for some of the paper work to be brought in latest the 1st day of work. I am assuming that if you do so they won't get pissed?
