I mean her guy best friend is the president of some frat called Phi Psi lmao i’m just playing… but nah we have a pretty strong relationship and if not her sister in my AP Bio will suffice.

It’s unfortunately too late for you bud. Should have started in elementary school, that’s what I did and it got me to a feeder middle school. By the time I was 12 I could have carried out a whole sell side process by myself. Then went to a prestigious preparatory school in Connecticut then a HYP, by the time I graduated university I had 6 internships, 3 of which were in HS.

Don't worry about IB. Enjoy high school, start playing some sports, meet new people, join clubs, whatever. Also in college don't sell your soul and make IB recruitment your life and personality, it sucks once you break in realizing the time lost i.e. developing maturity outside of career, developing relationships, having fun as a college student. So really just enjoy your time now, maybe get into a semi-target or target? That's prolly it. Even freshman year just chill and keep your grades up. Spending 3 years recruiting, full-time recruiting and after landing a dream job at a dream place made me realize how much time I wasted elsewhere. I guess some people will say sacrifices have to be made to achieve your dreams, but be smart with how much you sacrifice. Bit of a rant

If you can't stop thinking about this and the thought of not getting ahead gives you anxiety, you could study the 400 question guide by googling/YouTubing all the concepts you don't understand (which will essentially be everything lol). I didn't really learn anything in class, I prefer to teach myself that's how I went about it. You'll use investopedia a shit ton. Again, YouTube can teach you anything you need to know for finance/accounting. If something still isn't making sense you can post it on here and somebody will likely provide a good explanation.

But honestly if you're that stressed out you should just smoke some weed.

Not really stressed out shitting my brains out stressed more so on the damn hope i don’t loose my shit like my girlfriend did during recruitment lol

Christ bro take it easy. Can't be worrying right now about things that are happening so far in the future. If you already know you want to do IB you're chillin. Continue to read and learn about business but it's not worth the anxiety for something you cannot even do right now. When you get to school, get good grades, join clubs/take leadership positions, and network. If you know all this rn, as long as you stay the course you'll find a way.

I would not recommend a targeted approach this early out. The macro environment isn’t good right now and there’s a lot of uncertainty regarding the next few years. It would suck to have spent all your free time developing a profile, only for it to go to waste.

Honestly if you really are bored you can do high level things such as follow the markets, and maybe go through a few online accounting or financial modeling courses. That stuff will help you no matter what role in finance you interview for or even if you end up in consulting. Beyond that it’s simply too early to do more detailed studying or preparation.
