Tons of Admin work on deals???
I’m about half a year into my analyst job and been realizing there is so much admin work. I’m talking like the most mindless tedious work on even deal related work streams. I’ve only worked on a handful of models and often it was for pitches. Anyone else experience this?? At a boutique if that matters.

Sell-side M&A is “running a process”
There is a lot of process/admin work for deals
it's funny I'm in a coverage group that "does its own M&A" and 90% of what I do is admin. We sell prospects on the "technical experience" of our group. Learning a ton about the coverage but sometimes a whole day is lost to admin.
