Too late for IB recruiting and technicals?

Basically title.

Is it too late to start to recruit for IB?

I go to a target school, non Econ/finance major, 3.8 gpa. I started to network a little, like one person in one firm for a non NYC office BB. I am starting to just now work on technicals.

Any advice on recruiting and technicals? Any recourses to really learn technicals if you haven’t even done basic accounting?

I have decent experiences on my resume and been told I might be a good candidate based on my resume.

Basically, where should I start and how to stay with it and get an offer?

Commented this on other posts, but the things I use to prep are R&P to build my conceptual understanding. I think it’s much better to have that rather than memorize guide questions because you can answer questions more intelligently. Tools like IBvine are great for starting, but they are not unlimited and can’t personalize. Others try and sell you a guide for $70, found didn’t need to pay for that. Used Careerscend to prep for my bank interviews this round and felt that bc I was able to personalize things, the 4 bucks a month or whatever was dirt cheap.

For BB that have already had their apps due, or will have them due very soon, yes. However, there are some banks, like RBC, that don't have apps due til March, so look into firms like those.

You can do IB if you put your mind to it. It may not be sunshine and rainbows, you may not get the firm you would like, and actually, you may not even get placement at all. But you definitely have a shot at it.
