Top Banks in LA

Please give some perspective on the top banks in LA and how they compare relative to NY offices. My understanding is that it would go something like this:

  1. UBS
  2. Credit Suisse
  3. Goldman
  4. Morgan 5 - 10. ???

This is just a guess. Would appreciate some perspective from someone who has more knowledge. Also, where would you include Moelis and Company on this list and what are your thoughts on that firm? Thanks.

fibowsIs the UBS office in LA larger than their headquarters in CT? What makes it so famous?

UBS LA is IBD. It has nothing to do with size. Their trading floor in CT is huge, but that has nothing to do with this.
