Truist TMT group?
What are people’s thought on Truist’s TMT group for comp, exit and culture? Heard they hired a few bankers from evercore, moelis and few other BB few years back.

Career Resources
I see the 1 MD from Evercore on linkedin as well as 1 md and 1 VP from Moelis. But these guys probably left for a lifestyle change moreso than to make Truist some killer IB shop. I would not avoid Truist but I would keep them low on my list.
Idk about TMT but FinTech sucks in case it's housed under TMT. Endless pitching from my few interactions
Any insight on TMT LevFin at Truist?
I know Lev Fin is the strongest platform for Truist, any insight into the internet infrastructure team?
Sweatshop
How sweaty?
Out of ~90 interns for CIB, 25 either declined to return or reneged so far for the 2022 full-time class
You work there?
Any insight into their Healthcare Life Science practice based out of NYC?

On a side note, their NY office on 5th Ave is such a great location.
Yeah only thing is that like 85% of the entire IB division is located in Atlanta so most analysts get placed there.
This is a double edged sword. On one side, you’re clearing NYC pay in a tier 3 city (literally live like a king in Georgia) but on the other side, you’ll have less exit opportunities both for buy-side and sell-side than if you were located in NYC.
How strong is the platform for buyside exit? Or recruiting to be in GS / MS / EB?
Know two Truist interns that converted full-time offers with a top bulge bracket bank (JPM/GS/MS)
Like most MM and LMM banks, Truist is a good stepping stone for landing a position at a top BB. Oftentimes when analysts at BBs leave, they will look to replace them with MM folks because they have similar work experience and already know what they're getting themselves into.
They will respect the name enough to consider you and give you an interview. From there, it all comes down to your interviewing skills (humbly hyping yourself up) and vibing with the team/group.
Ideally, I'm planning to stay at Truist until associate, then I want to lateral to top BB (specifically GS / MS) or EB. I just want to make sure I will be able to get an interview.
Any idea on intern hours? With pumped hourly pay wondering how much OT interns will get?
