Yeah only thing is that like 85% of the entire IB division is located in Atlanta so most analysts get placed there.

This is a double edged sword. On one side, you’re clearing NYC pay in a tier 3 city (literally live like a king in Georgia) but on the other side, you’ll have less exit opportunities both for buy-side and sell-side than if you were located in NYC.

Know two Truist interns that converted full-time offers with a top bulge bracket bank (JPM/GS/MS)

Like most MM and LMM banks, Truist is a good stepping stone for landing a position at a top BB. Oftentimes when analysts at BBs leave, they will look to replace them with MM folks because they have similar work experience and already know what they're getting themselves into.

They will respect the name enough to consider you and give you an interview. From there, it all comes down to your interviewing skills (humbly hyping yourself up) and vibing with the team/group.

Any idea on intern hours? With pumped hourly pay wondering how much OT interns will get?
