Undergrad: Warwick (Chemistry) or Bocconi (Economics)
Just got an offer through clearing for Warwick however it’s for chemistry. I’m planning to go into IB and have heard of people from Oxford/Imperial/UCL esque schools get into top IB jobs with chemistry so just wondering which is better for me for IB and PE type jobs
warwick isnt even good at chemistry dude
Yes but it’s deemed as a target for IB in same likes of ucl imperial so surely a stem degree from target uni is good
its a target for econ, a&f, ppe - not chemistry
not comparable to imperial
i have an chemical engineering degree and it was not a good use of my time. if you want to do stem do something practical like comp sci
Yes but after Oxbridge and imperial Warwick must be the t3 school for chem no ?
Subject matter experts definitely do get roles in Chemicals / Healthcare IB. But Econ background (esp. from Bocconi) will help your career more than Warwick Chem
Even for hf and pe, I feel like stem degrees from more prestigious unis are better for hf
Fully agree if it was Cambridge NatSci / UCL Medicine / Imperial MechEng
But its Warwick. This is coming from a Warwick student. Most people that get top buyside / BBs / EBs from here study Maths/Econ/MORSE
