Unemployment Benefits for Not Promoted A2A?

Long story short, I got the heads up that I won't get the A2A promote. When I roll off the platform at the end of June, would I be eligible for unemployment benefits? Given its like $2.5k a month in NYC, this would defintely factor into my budgeting decisions, but unclear if I'll be eligible. Anyone with experience here would be appreciated.

If you become unemployed / if you were let go, you should be able to qualify for unemployment benefits for a period of time or until you find a new job.

you'll definitely qualify for unemployment benefits, the only reason you wouldn't would be if you were fired "for cause" which in this case it doesn't sound like you were, even then most companies aren't petty enough to block ex-employees from receiving unemployment benefits

Apply to the unemployment benefits, it could take a few months to find a new job in this climate.

I thought max $500 / week in NY. Anyone have experience otherwise?

Why didn't you get it? I thought everyone did... What type of bank were you at?
