Valuation Template

I was wondering if anyone out there had an excel template to value a company. I am a big fan of value investing and would like to start learning how its done and how to read the numbers and understand them. It would be huge help if their were step by step directions and explanations of what the numbers mean.

I hear so much about how important it is to be able to do financial modeling / valuation in this industry and I want to get a jump start by valuing some companies I have an eye on. If anyone has some sort of template that I can plug numbers and let the formulas do the work, that would be really great and a huge help.

How about a template to see if a stock is a buy/hold/sell? Does anyone have this out there? or if the above websites would give me this answer, would anyone be willing to elaborate on how this can be done.

How about valuing a start-up. Early stage company, so after friends and family money when they start looking for outside investors, with investing anywhere from 20k-200k. Would anyone know how to value companies that are not far along and still at very high growth (and risk).

Dear all fellow WSO readers, please see if you can help me one way or another. It has been tough to land interviews. I have passed two rounds of interviews and getting the modeling/stock note right would give me a good shot at the opportunity. I appreciate it very much if anyone who knows this topic to lend me a hand.
