Verbal offer 4 days ago but still nothing written
Want to make sure I'm not freaking out here. But I applied for a position at a competing bank and recieved a verbal offer earlier this week, at the end of the call I was told HR would be working on the letter right away.
It's now Friday and still no letter. Understand it's crunch time before a holiday weekend but when is an appropriate amount of time to follow up? Should I wait until early next week just to check nothing went wrong? They haven't begun a background check or anything like that to my knowledge
Took me 1 month to receieve my contract after verbal.
Send an email today just asking when you should expect to get the written offer and wish them a good weekend and happy memorial week.
Keep it short, sweet, and straight to the point. You’ll here back late next week
