Guys, I need advice. If I am reaching out cold to IB firms, who is the best point of contact regarding hiring opportunities? Would it be VPs or is the process run through Associates generally?

Although each bank is different, as a safe bet, I would say the higher in the chain you go, the more likely it is that that person has power to push your resume. some firms have analysts run the whole process and some firms only take referrals from MDs
