Wells Fargo Energy team is actually doing really well right now; they're ranked pretty high up in the energy sector deals. Energy deals are also flowing right now, so it really depends on you and how your group is doing.
Any one know about the Energy Investment Banking team at Wells Fargo? Bump
limited experience here but their energy group seems to have a pretty solid rep. it's split between oil and gas in Houston and utilities in Charlotte i believe.
