Based on the most helpful WSO content, Wells Fargo's perks seem to be more conservative compared to some other banks. Here's what you can expect:

  1. Expense Policies: Wells Fargo has strict policies regarding expenses. For example, expensing meals early or abusing the expense program (e.g., staying at luxury hotels or dining at expensive restaurants) can lead to serious consequences, including termination.

  2. Meals and Transportation: There isn't specific mention of comped meals or Uber policies for Wells Fargo in the WSO threads. However, other banks typically offer perks like dinner stipends (e.g., $25-$30) if you work late and car services (like UberX) if you stay past a certain time. It's unclear if Wells Fargo provides these, but their conservative approach to expenses suggests they might not be as generous.

  3. General Perks: Wells Fargo's perks seem to focus more on professional growth opportunities rather than flashy benefits. For example, their Financial Analyst Program emphasizes career development, with compensation including a base salary, potential sign-on bonuses, and year-end bonuses.

If you're looking for "cool stuff" like unlimited PTO, nap rooms, or extravagant perks, those are more common in tech companies or startups rather than traditional banks like Wells Fargo.

Interned there last summer. Pencils down after Friday 6pm until 12pm Saturday is a good perk. Teams across the floor respect it

Comped dinner starting at 6:30pm assuming you stay in the office til at least 8pm with varying caps depending on what office you’re based out of; Ubers are comped if you stay past 9pm; you get random miscellaneous WF-branded crap - banker bag for coming back FT and messenger bag/briefcase for both interns and FT

No free snacks though

What’s the gym situation specifically for the Hudson Yards office? I know most banks have one with lockers or an equinox / lifetime membership discount. Didn’t intern with the bank last summer. Thanks in advance

the corporate discount makes Equinox $315 a month but the HY location cost extra. Wasn't worth it in my opinion. Was always way too crowded no matter what hour of the day I went there. Ended up cancelling it. Would probably just recommend finding a gym close to where you live.
I've never checked out LifeTime but it's probably a similar price.
