I feel like in the past couple of years as CS goes bust and DB/UBS are overtaken, a few banks now merit the term "Bulge Bracket" or "Almost Bulge Bracket".
The strongest contenders are RBC Capital Markets, Jefferies, BMO Capital Markets, TD Cowen, Wells Fargo (was always considered a semi-BB if I'm not mistaken), Mizuho, Nomura
