What should I have my boss teach me in preparation for IB summer recruiting?
Hey guys,
So I currently have a part time internship at a very small investment bank in MD. I am a junior and have begun filling out applications and sending cold emails in the efforts to land an IB internship in NYC this summer. Since I work in a very small office, there is not a ton of work for me to do (I am not doing valuations or any kind of modeling because I have yet to learn that and it is pretty much handled by the senior associate). The person I work under came up to me today and asked me what I wanted to learn and was not really sure what I should learn to prepare myself for interviews so that is why I am here. I have a great opportunity and I want to make the most of it and really leverage what I learned during interviews in the coming months. Any suggestions from people who have gone through the process would be very much appreciated. Thanks
