What skills should you work on to be "top bucket?"

The title says most of it: what skills are most important to being top bucket and how would you go about honing them?

For those who are/were top bucket, what did you do that differentiated you from the pack?

Oftentimes it’s just a matter of likeability and good relationships with your MD, which is subjective.

You should already have the technical ability if you were promoted A2A, so just be able to run a process smoothly and follow guidelines given to you by more senior managers. Additionally, be a good communicator - communication could possibly make the difference between top and bottom bucket in some situations.

Be independant and adaptative. It allowed me to offer my services as a freelancer with my accounting skills. And learn how to trade forex/stocks as a second source of revenue

We have more opportunities our profile is more attractive. HR love the self made/entrepreneur mindset
