I am a non-target undergrad who networked a lot since last recruiting season. Most were fail (didn't respond, didnt seem interested) but I did manage to get a few analysts, associates, etc. who were willing to help and told me to keep in touch.
The problem is that recently I have noticed that all of them either went to a new investment bank or are exiting into some other role.
What do you usually do in this situation? If they moved to a different IB, then do they have much say? If they moved out of IB, is it okay to ask them to flag the resume where they worked before? If so, how do you approach this?
