What valueable/visionary things can you do as an investment banker other than becoming a philanthropist?

Hi everyone, I feel like the question isn't clear enough and seems a little weird perhaps so I'll clarify. I'll be interviewing for an external scholarship tomorrow. The person I'm meeting is a very important CEO from my country who found immense success coming from a rural area. I know from a friend who also interviewed with him in the past that he's slightly nationalist and I gives importance to how you would better the world around you.

I'm planning on doing IB and come from a target school. I want to know what type of things I can mention that would touch upon the subject of nationality and just creating a better world using the tools/skills of IB other than just making a lot of money for myself+ philanthropy. I would love your feedback and ideas on this subject as this scholarship would mean a LOT to me. So far I have thought of these things and please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I'm just a freshmen with little knowledge right now! :) Briefly:

-You could pull investments towards your country by creating connections between investors and companies in your country if you have an influential position within the company. I guess if you're doing your job well you would generate confidence in investing in that particular country with the success you find around your clientele and others. You'd make others more open to investing in that country which would fuel growth there.

-People from my nationality are rarely in IB and it's rarely considered. I could be promoting this field as a way to perhaps create a stronger relationship between these banks and my country as well as just introduce more people to the know-how that comes with investment banking which I believe again would be beneficial when it comes to advising other companies from your nation etc.

Thank you for your input and time!
