What will the timeline be like for SA 2021?
Would it be roughly the same as for SA 2020 or pushed back a little bit? Any insight is appreciated.

Not really sure on the pacing as there's been complete radio silence on that end. Rumors are that it'll be slowed down a little, but who knows. It takes one firm sending out superdays to start the shit show.
When I went through the SA20 process, firms like Moelis, Rothschild and Guggenheim opened apps as early as January/Feb if I recall correctly.. didn't hear about interviews in my network until March though. Good luck to you guys going for SA21!
I thought Moelis opened in July/early August based on WSO threads?
Apps for Moelis opened in Fall 2018/early 2019.
hmm I hate to be the bearer of bad news but at this point in time most banks have wrapped up their 2021 recruiting

Bank teller SA class of 2021 is still open but time is running out.
What I can say from 2020:
GS, MS, JP all agreed that non-diversity superdays would begin no sooner than August (right after candidates sophomore year). I'm non-core, so there may have been some preliminary OCR stuff at targets going on way before that - can't speak for it
CS and Citi had superdays as early as April/May

Can confirm this, Citi OCR resume drops/applications were first week of february and superdays were held in early march.
