What will your resume look like in two years?

I just completed my first month of banking and I'm loving it so far. I'm curious to know what an analyst's resume looks like after two/three years of banking.

XYZ Firm - Analyst - New York City, NY July '08 - June '10 -Staffed on three M&A transactions from pitch to close -Completed over 50 pitches in the consumer products industry ??

I have no idea what the bullet points would even be. Anyone care to share what an excellent resume looks like after two/three years of being an analyst?

Mostly, you'll have 3-4 bullet points outlining your general roles. This looks the same for almost every IBD analyst (specific modeling skills, drafting memos/CIMs, etc.)

Then, you usually have selected transaction experience where you outline 2-3 deals (hopefully your team closed) at length. This includes your specific roles on the deal. Did you do the modeling? Did you draft memos? Did you personally work with management? etc.

Check out dosk's site, as he has some really good pointers as to what your resume should look like. Obviously, this is tailored to exit opps but I've seen a lot of b-school resumes who have a similar format from their banking experiences.

I would never mention how many pitches you've done.
