What's the average compensation range for BB and EB investment banking analysts?
Hey everyone. I'm a freshman trying to break into IB and I was researching compensation for analyst positions at different companies but couldn't find anything accurate. The numbers varied a lot for the exact same position so I'm not sure which ones are accurate. I was wondering if anyone was able to give me a range without me being too invasive on your guys personal compensation.
bump
Guesstimate but $170-180k BB, $190-210K EB
At a MM. $100k base + $80k bonus (+/- 10k depending if ur top or bottom bucket) = $180k for 1st year analyst. Add 20k for 2nd year and another 20k for 3rd year analysts.
Edit: whoops, meant to click "add comment" but accidentally hit "reply"
No way we get 80k bonuses this year, it’ll be like 55k avg
