Most start early June (June 7th this year). There were also several analysts that came a week later because their school system runs on quarters ( Stanford, UofC,).
When Do Summer Intern Programs Start on Wall Street this Year? (Originally Posted: 04/06/2012)
Just curious when everyone else is getting to the city for IBD summer programs and when their internship programs start in NYC for 2012.
Not sure if formal offers have been extended or not; if not, is it usually the second or third week of June?
First week of June for most programs this year, I believe.

Does anyone know the dates for the summer internships at most banks (if anyone knew them for Citi that'd be especially interesting). Are the dates often negotiable (is it for instance possible to start 1/2 weeks later and then end 1/2 later)?

If you start 1/2 week late then you would miss half of training / orientation so unless you have school or some other serious conflict is generally not allowed.
But when do they generally start? And is school a valid excuse? Are they likely to accept that?
