The training period is the first week of one's summer internship, which finished up a few weeks ago.
I think he was referring to full time analyst training. From what I've seen, they start training in early to mid July, it lasts 4-5 weeks and they usually start work in the beginning of August. In most cases training should be over for almost all banks.
