Where did LSO go?

"In New York City, there exists an area known as “The Financial District.” More commonly known as the “FiDi,” this area is home to the city’s brightest, most attractive, and best paid individuals. The FiDi is the cultural epicenter of New York City.

And within this epicenter, there is an epi-epicenter: 85 Broad, Goldman Sachs’ main offices. This is where our story takes place."

And I ponder, what happened to you LSO? (I perused your book, read all your posts, rummaged through WSO and was mildy amused by Dan Bush, but nothing compares to your hilarity)

"One second I was an innocuous American car, wearing shorts and a polo. The next second—BAM! I was transformed and growling back at myself in a $3k bespoke suit, 1000 feet tall, ready to shoot M&A lasers out of my elbows.

The Optimus Mother Fucking Prime of Banking, baby."

Sorry, but what is LSO?

"Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, for knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind. And greed, you mark my words, will not only save Teldar Paper, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA."

That site was absolutely hilarious. My favorite was "The Shitshow".

"How to Get a Banker Chick (for the non-Banker Guy)" came in a close second.

that one was excellent. so were many others.

if you think about it, that kid was just finding his voice as a writer. i think he had good talent for his particular genre. i hope that his writing matured well.

^ And that the author is not actually a banker/finance guy himself.

I liked 'The Boutique, Only 87% Tool and the Shitshow'

I remember around the time I found LSO, I also found SandHillSlave.com, about a woman working in VC... but from a different perspective (she's an exec assistant). She wrote her thoughts about the employees (partners that hit on her), the VC world, and about herself. Dry humor and decent writer, but her blog had a hiatus as well. It surprised me (I was an intern when I found the blog) how much EAs made in buyside...
