Where to get Deal-info
Hello,
First of all, thank you all for your time and insights, I really appreciate them.
As I am deciding to which banks/groups/products apply, I was wondering what are the best resources to familiarize with the bank’s deals? – Knowing the parties involved, synergies, rationales, costs, etc.
I have access to the WSJ and FT, but should I just start searching there for previous deals within some specific banks? Or is there info on the bank’s websites? Or should I go through the 10Ks of the banks?...
Any insight would be appreciate it, Thank you.
Hey Compos Mentis, I'm here because nobody responded to this thread after a few days...maybe one of these resources will help you:
Hope that helps.
You should sign up for some of those newsletters like Morning Brew, Axios Pro Rata, Term Sheet, etc.
Capital iq, deallogic, mergermarket, dealbook, press release etc
If you don't have Factset, you can use WSJ to get the biggest deals, Seeking Alpha has a M&A news page, Reuters does too. I personally use Factset cause my school gives me free access. Boutiques also generally put their transactions up on their websites.
