Who typically submits the updated pages to seniors, the analyst or associate?

I've seen both instances so far during my internship, but curious as to what the general consensus is on who submits the updated deck to your seniors after each turn..the analyst or the associate? FWIW, The projects where the associate tends to send the updated materials are the ones in which the associate is more hands on..

What have you guys seen? Is there more or less a standard?

In my experience, almost always analyst - expectation is analyst PDFs + sends the deck after the associate gives sign-off on the PPT

echoing this, I always send it to MDs and VPs after my associates gives my the sign-off.

Analyst is doing the work and should send it - that said, the two exceptions I've seen

1) the "fine" exception - seniors asked for very detailed outputs or complicated modeling that the analyst may not be familiar with, ASO (senior ASO or A2A) takes the lead - they can explain the work better / field any follow-up calls, so they send

2) the "bad" exception - ASOs who think sending materials = name popping up in senior's inbox = good when it comes time for bonus/reviews. I wouldn't take this one too personally, it's not a great practice but some people are just obsessed with who sends the email, it's not a reflection on you.
