I'm curious who will be attending the energy rodeo from the east coast? I'm in the process of booking my flight and hotel but this is the first event I'm attending so I'm a little unsure where I should stay and what the best time to fly in/out of Houston would be.
I'm definitely ballin' on a budget so I was thinking a hojo/marriot or something similar for a hotel and I was planning on flying in Friday evening and leaving Sunday night. As of right now I'm not sure if anyone else from my school will be coming so If anyone is trying to split a room let me know.
Also is anyone trying to get together Friday night for drinks/extracurriculars maybe sample some local talent before the show on Saturday?
Last year most of the apes stayed at the same hotel. (forget what it was) The venue is different this year so not sure what hotel everyone is using. Email [email protected] to get advice.

Gotcha, I'll grab a room there. If Houston has more than one airport does anyone know which one is closest to the venue/hotel? Is it safe to just book the cheapest flight I can find regardless of airport?
IAH is 26 miles from where you'll be needing to go in Houston. It will cost about $50 to get there from the airport.
Hobby is the cheaper airport that Jetblue/Southwest service. This is about 14 miles from where you'll be needing to go. Try this option if your trying to book the cheapest flight/transportation
I'm only finding flights to IAH from my airport at any reasonable time so I'll probably just deal with the cab fare but I'll see what else I can find.
I rented a car last year, would highly recommend it. Just keep highly intoxicated monkeys out.
Will they let me rent a car in Texas if I'm under the age of 21? I know around here they won't let me rent one.
I'll see if my fake will work.. I'd rather rent a car than blow $100 in round trip cab fees.
