Because you enjoy long walks on the beach, smokin joints rolled up in 100 bills, and gay orgy gangbangs that build that AMAZING Goldman culture.

Did you seriously just ask this question and then ask for "serious answers only?"

"Greed, in all of its forms; greed for life, for money, for love, for knowledge has marked the upward surge of mankind. And greed, you mark my words, will not only save Teldar Paper, but that other malfunctioning corporation called the USA."

this one is easy.....because when women ask you what company you work for, you truthfully want to be able to say GOLDMAN SACHS. This is also kind of a trick question....you want to turn this question back on to the interviewer and say why whiteberry?!

On a serious note, look on their website and come up with a genuine answer. Ask yourself, why do you want to work for Goldman? An answer that you come up with on your own will sound a 100 x better than an answer that someone on a message board gives you.

I would have a speech ready on how you think that you can help rehab their reputation, how you have a vision for the firms next ten to twenty years, and how you think you would be much better equipped to testify in front of a senate committee than the jokers they sent today.

lol people should send their resume's in for GS AM now since they're hiring

And for your interview just say GS because you want to be baller like "fabulous fab" but the black juicy j version with URM slores

a family friend hooked it up, so im not sure if they're actually hiring for FT. this is for an SA position.

The key is to really prepare yourself for the interview: Why Goldman? Why you at Goldman? As pointed out above, lawsuit or not, people are still lining up around the corner to work there so make sure you are well rested, well informed and articulate. You should know the good, the bad and the ugly of things happening with Goldman in the past year.
