Will I be Asked Group-Specific Technicals?
So I have an off-cycle intern interview coming up and it is with multiple groups (i.e. interviewing with p&u, then fig, then DCM). HR clarified that I will not necessarily be joining any of the groups I am interviewing for.
Will they ask me tough group-specific technicals? Like will I need to know specifics of FIG?
So with the disclaimer that you can always get a rogue interviewer and an interviewer who didn't read the brief, I think it's highly, highly unlikely you'll get specific questions. If you're interviewing for a generalist role, you'll be asked generalist questions (in fact, probably a scripted list that HR provided). I'd caveat your responses with "well in a typical, non-FIG type of firm, I'd do XYZ"
Good luck!
