Hello. I am a freshman at a semi-target and am going to do a Wealth Management Internship at Raymond James this summer. What about a wm at Morgan Stanley, and how much of a differnece will an internshipi there affect my chance of getting into IB compared to a mm bank? Can I transition this to a top IB firm for my junior internship in the future?

I already have a search then this internship in WM. So the internship won't add much too my IB placements?
WM and IB are two completely separate functions and really have 0 overlap. WM is more so a sales job than finance IMO. Your best bet would be to network internally during your internship, and after you leave
