Women in RX
Are there any females in RX? Pretty much all MDs are men, curious to hear if there's a community for women in this space slash if anyone knows why this is the case

More women entering these days.. but even in classic IB you're really not going to find many women MDs. I think RX attracts a more "hardo"/stereotypically male type with all of the distressed work
There are senior woman at some of the top Rx shops, but not very common.
I know one that was at HL Rx . There’s a good ammount of rx lawyers that are women.
on a side note I know this lady rx god who started her own distressed fund. I heard stories that she was one of the scariest mfs in the world.

But yeah, very few women at all levels. Rx lags the rest of banking in increasing diversity. Even looking at the schools attended by rx bankers, you can see obvious bias towards targets much more than in M&A.
