It’s a shit app
Please give specifics on how we can improve...we have a dedicated mobile app developer and I can feed him suggestions please.
Definitely improve the Direct Messages section. The layout is totally messed up sometimes and you can’t see the messages you send/receive in the proper order, or you can only see yours and not the other persons.
1) I get signed out all the time, seemingly randomly
2) I open threads and it’s a 50/50 chance whether unread comments are actually yellow
3) The last page in a thread is almost always empty or just shows one empty box when I click on it
There’s also a noticeable and significant delay (~1 second) when giving bananas or MS
Would love an improved app. For all its faults, WSO is a really solid forum. Sweet spot in size and scope. Like a good subreddit. Hopefully, it stays that way.
Just make it better than the crap app that Reddit is pushing right now.
Bumping this - is there anyway to see your bookmarks on the app? I see the option to bookmark a thread but nowhere to actually see my bookmarks unless I’m on the internet

Bookmark problem resolved.
Second that ^ optionality to bookmark a thread to go back. But also the option to see more recent threads on app. On website there’s pages of recent threads, on the app you can just see one page of recent threads
I suggest the landscape mode point on another thread a few months ago but still no changes, so I just deleted the app
